Your hosts, Maria and Rick, endeavour to make your stay as comfortable as possible, and understand that every guest has different needs. Collingwood Manor is not your average 'Ma & Pa' style Bed & Breakfast. While we enjoy providing genuine old world hospitality, we also understand your need for privacy and time independant from others. When you stay with us, you can choose to be as private or social as you wish; our sole concern is your utmost comfort.
All rooms (6 in total) are exquisitely furnished to the period, yet feature modern conveniences including air conditioning (except in the "Doris Room"), flat screen HD televisions, DVD players, mini fridges, heated towel racks plus coffee & tea making facilities.
A cosy lounge or the relaxing garden provide the ideal retreats for quiet moments with a drink and a book or a convivial meeting place to swap and compare your New Zealand experiences with fellow travelers. Conversely, each of our generous bedrooms are comfortable enough to retire to for moments of complete privacy and personal relaxation and, with all the luxuries described above, allow you to be as self-sufficient as you prefer.
A delicious full buffet-style breakfast, using the finest fresh local and home made produce, is served daily in the dining room, overlooking the magnificent sun garden. There surely can be no better place to welcome in each day.
