IT'S ARTS FESTIVAL TIME IN NELSON ONCE AGAIN!
The 2016 Nelson Arts Festival starts in two days time on the 12th October and runs until 24th October.

The Masked Parade is happening on Friday 21st October, starting at 5.30pm. This year's theme is FLIGHTS OF FANCY. The parade is followed by the More FM Carnivale, which runs from 6.30-10pm on upper Trafalgar & Hardy streets

To wrap the festival up, the 5th Dia De Los Muertos is happening at Founders Park on Monday 24th October..
A festive family day with Mexican food & drinks, chilli sauce competition, music, performances, stuff for kids and more!

Here at Collingwood Manor we are having a bit of a spruce up and getting our roof re-painted. Apologies to our guests who have had to endure the scaffolding surrounding the building, but it will all be worth it when our roof is bright & sparkling and good for many more years again!
The Suter gallery, cafe & theatre are now fully re-opened at 208 Bridge Street, and the following three exhibitions are on show until March 12th 2017: MILK & HONEY, PROMISED LAND & EXODUS. It is so great to have our newly refurbished iconic gallery back again. check their website for more details:

Here's hoping the expo will make it's way back to the Trafalgar Centre in Nelson City next year, now that centre's strengthening work is complete.
On Friday 14th October the Nelson College for girls twilight in the trees gala event is on:
